About the Programme
The Master of Information and Records Management prepares students for professional positions where they can apply information and records lifecycle processes in all kinds of libraries such as academic, public, special and school libraries and archives and other types of information agencies. Students are prepared to enter a profession that conserves, transmits and gives access to true information for the purpose of preserving and advancing our world’s cultural, social and scientific knowledge. Our mission is to train information professionals who can create, manage and protect information systems and use information technologies, understand their use within social, cultural and organizational contexts
Ph.D in Information and Records Management prepares students for professional positions in all kinds of libraries such as academic, public, special and school libraries and archives and other types of information agencies. Our mission is to train professionals who can manage libraries, archives and information agencies and records management centers; incentively use ICT’s and who are able to provide new business and management perspectives in organisation of and access to information resources. The program aims to contribute to information production and use at national and international levels.
