Master with thesis and PhD programs of History Deparment follows an education program which causes the students to gain speciality about Ottoman and World History from the end of the 18th century. The Human Rights Master’s Program is aimed at examining the protection mechanisms of human rights at risk at national, regional and international level. The field of human rights is an interdisciplinary field. This area, which is at the intersection of law and humanities, embraces philosophical, historical and cultural contexts. So it offers versatile operation. Many different human rights protection instruments have been developed, both nationally and internationally, but some of them are more effective than others. In this context, the protection system of European Human Rights Convention which include also Turkey, is the one of main study areas of the program. [...]

About the Programme In order to ensure the increase in capacity determined under the Intellectual Property Law Chapter which is one of the most important chapters in the accession to European Union, implementation of international agreements regarding intellectual property to which Turkey is a party and most importantly to make Turkey one of the countries which protect intellectual property rights effectively, it is aimed to contribute to the necessary educational infrastructure.
